A walk with my buddy bear!

My dog bear loves to walk in central park and bark at the squirrels as they leap through the leaves.
All I have to say is "Bear, wanna go for a walk and he is right in front of me in seconds. Not bad for a 15 yr old dog.
We walk through the woods at a nice slow pace. He inspects every tree and that can be exhausting in the woods.
When we get home we play a little ball and he finds a spot to lay down and stare at something until he gets sleepy. I do the same thing by watching TV.
I watch as his eyes go bloodshot and he drifts off to sleep.
I wonder what he is dreaming of as his feet twitch as if he were running.
I will wake him in a few hours to go out again
for another walk and he will
be just as excited and ready to go!
